Christopher D. Clack is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at UCL, specialising in Blockchain technologies, Smart Contracts, and Computable Contracts, with a focus on the finance sector and smart derivatives contracts. As joint Field Chief Editor of the open-access journal Frontiers in Blockchain, he leads a global editorial board. His research aims to ensure the fidelity of code to legal contracts, involving the formalisation of contract meanings, development of new contract languages, and methodologies for translating contracts into code. Clack also founded initiatives at UCL to enhance interdisciplinary academia-industry collaboration and advises various sectors.
